About Twist Gallery

The 5,000 square foot New York-style loft features skylights, French Arch windows overlooking the city streets, and long wooden beams accentuating the high ceiling. The gallery ensures its artists can present their work in a relaxed and social environment, while allowing its visitors to walk around freely and learn about the art. Our mission is to support local artists by giving them a space to showcase their artwork.

THE TWIST

While promoting emerging artists in the visual arts has always been central to our mission, Twist Gallery also aims to facilitate meaningful moments in people's lives. By incorporating cultural elements into events like weddings, meetings and gatherings, we try to help attendees rediscover their creative spirit.

Twist transcends the stereotypical notion of an art gallery, and focuses on lifestyle as well. It is a place where anyone can feel comfortable – not only the art-enthusiasts, but also those who know nothing about art. The gallery works close with its guests, keeping them updated regarding upcoming events and exhibits the space is hosting.

Twist Gallery also ‘twists’ into an event space outside of gallery hours. During the evenings and weekends, Twist Gallery is a sought after venue for weddings, receptions, and company events. Recommended countless times, Twist has hosted over 100 celebrations.

Twist Gallery has evolved far beyond its modest roots. Over a decade and a half, our multi-functional space has touched countless lives by facilitating weddings, conferences, galas and more infused with cultural energies. Our unwavering dedication to creative expression, culinary storytelling and bringing people together through shared appreciation of the arts has truly left a mark on Toronto's flourishing cultural landscape.
